Knife sweeps around Palfrey Park and Arena park have taken place ( No knives found )

A visit was requested by staff at Deighton court, Delves to talk to some of our more elderly residents who can sometimes feel vulnerable. Topics covered were different scams that the scammers use to try to trick some of our elderly residents. We also spoke about Action Fraud, and other general issues. It was great to speak to so many residents, have a cuppa with them and just listen to what they had to say.

Officers were also invited to Acorns Hospice to take a look around and speak to staff, and listen to the fantastic work that takes place.

A  male was arrested by officers for possession of a bladed article and arrested.

Two males arrested for Possession of bladed article and possession of class A&B drugs, also vehicle seized.

Several stop searches by officers during the course of the week.

And some of the Delves officers supported the St Matthews team with a knife arch operation in Walsall town centre as part of Op-Sceptre week
